Access to Buenaventura Mine: Shutted by Protesters

Peru mines that were the world's sixth largest gold producer have been dealing with mining issues this past few days. On June 15, protesters for labor and environment have shut access to Buenaventura's Orcopampa gold mine and the mine's gold production is greatly affected, as stated by the mine officials. This mine had produced 285,000 ounces of gold last year. More of the article on the link below.
