Chilean territorial plan controversial, Peru protests

The Peruvian Foreign Ministry said Chilean lawmakers had approved a law that doesnot respect the agreed territorial demarcation. The law takes 19,000 to 35,000 square meters of land away from Peru.

Weekend accidents kill 20

In two separate accidents on Saturday 20 people were killed and 43 injured. Both accidents ocuured due to driver negligence.

Ethno-botanist Collins says there's progress on stopping defores

In an interview Collins answered questions about the current state of deforestaion and the progress that has been made so far on making the rainforest sustainable. He says that over the past five years some incredible reforms have been instituted in the lowlands of Peru, but there is no "silver bullet solution"
