Despite the government attacks to the indigenous people of Peru, the European Commission still decides to continue negotiation on free trade agreement on the country. Due to this matter, a coalition of development NGO's have expressed their concern on European Commission's decision. The said violence started when Peruvian Government send out troops to destroy roadblocks made by the natives as protest to the free trade agreement that they claim to have affected their livelihoods.
